As in all foundations, the highest governing and representative body responsible for the management and use of the Foundation's assets is the Board of Trustees, which in this case consists of: an Honorary President; a President; three members representing the Royal Board of Trustees of the Museo del Prado and the royal academies of Fine Arts and History, respectively; a Supervisory Committee made up of prominent people from the church, the arts and the business world; and a joint directorship representing all the founder's children and grandchildren.
